Promoting Oceania Languages

Oceania is perhaps the world’s most linguistically diverse regions, with thousands of Indigenous languages still being spoken on a daily basis.

During Cultural Diversity Week, DNA held multiple events including an interview with Pacific Leader, Pefi Kingi, where we talked about the importance of protecting and promoting our Indigenous Oceania languages. Pefi is an advocate who uses her local, regional and global platforms to shine a spotlight on the richness and wonder of Pacific languages and culture.
